South Dakota Pheasant Hunting License
Blaze Orange clothing, including vest and hat.
We recommend a 12 gauge shotgun with a modified choke.
Comfortable boots for walking the fields.
Safety/Shooting glasses
Minimum of #5 shot heavy field loads are recommended.
Rain gear and Cold gear.

If you’re flying into South Dakota, the nearest airport is Sioux Falls. We’re approximately a 3 hour drive from the Sioux Falls Regional Airport. The airport serves American, Delta, and United, along with budget-friendly options like Allegiant and Frontier. There are many major car rental companies available at the Sioux Falls airport.

WHEN YOU ARRIVE

As guests arrive, they are welcomed by snacks and drinks at your respective lodge by our team that can show them around if needed. Dinner is served and pre-hunt rituals of celebrating getting together follows.

The Hunt

The first day begins with a delicious breakfast, shooting clay pigeons to warm up the guns and a brief safety talk to assure everyone enjoys a fun and safe day in the field.

Hunters then board a bus that will transport them to their first fields.

Lunch and snacks are served in the field. More hunting follows!

Once the hunt is concluded, your group heads back to your respective lodge via our bus to enjoy hors d’oeuvres, drinks and a delicious dinner right off the smoker.
